A1 language courses in German, English or French in Zurich
At our Wordculture language school in the center of Zurich, we offer A1 language courses for all languages.
In our A1 language courses, you will get to know the language in question, learn the basic building blocks and develop initial communication skills.
Our A1 courses are suitable for anyone who wants to learn a new language – whether for children, students or adults.

At the A1 level, you learn the basics of a language as well as the most important everyday vocabulary. You will be able to hold simple conversations, introduce yourself and others and understand and express simple sentences.
We offer A1 courses for all languages and at a time to best suit you: morning, lunchtime, afternoon or evening. We can offer you the flexibility of studying at our centrally located school, in the comfort of your own home, or at your workplace.
Depending on the intensity of the course it can take between 1 and 6 months to complete an entire level. At the end of a course you can sit the relevant exam for your chosen language.
The A1 courses are designed for adults, students or children, who would like an introduction to a new language.

Conversation course Spanish A1
In our conversation courses you will focus on speaking and pronunciation. Our small group size (3 to 6 persons) will give you
the chance to speak and practice the language as much as possible. Thanks to our experienced teachers you will increase your confidence in speaking very fast.
Grammar course Spanish A1
You would like to speak and write without grammar or spelling mistakes. In our small groups (3 to 6 participants) you will learn to express yourself clearly and correctly.
Spanish course for children A1
Our Spanish courses for kids are designed to encourage children to begin learning a new language and culture through a mixture of play-based activities. All activities are specifically designed by our experienced teachers (who are also native speakers) to offer a rich and stimulating environment for young learners.
Intensive course Spanish A1
In our small groups (3 to 6 participants) you can complete the level A1 in a very short time. After completing one of our courses you can go on to sit the exam for DELE A1.

In our small groups (3 to 6 participants) you can complete the level A1 in a very short time. After completing one of our courses you can go on to sit the exams for CELI, CILS and PLIDA A1.

Exam preparation course German A1
In our exam preparation course German A1 in small dynamic groups (3 to 6 participants) we prepare our students for the Goethe and Telc A1 exam. Our teachers are familiar with the demands of each exam as well as the test procedure and can provide you with all the tips and tricks you need to successfully pass the exam.
French course A1 for children
Our French courses for kids are designed to encourage children to begin learning a new language and culture through a mixture of play-based activities. All activities are specifically designed by our experienced teachers (who are also native speakers) to offer a rich and stimulating environment for young learners.
Intensive course French A1
In our small groups (3 to 6 participants) you can complete the level A1 in a very short time. After completing one of our courses you can go on to sit the exam for Delf A1.

In our small groups (3 to 6 participants) you can complete the level A1 in a very short time. After completing one of our courses you can go on to sit the exam for the telc and Goethe A1.
Conversation course German A1

the chance to speak and practice the language as much as possible. Thanks to our experienced teachers you will increase your confidence in speaking very fast.
Intensive course English A1
After completing one of our courses you can go on to sit the exam for the Cambridge certificate (KET) or one of the Telc certificates. If you feel you would like more practice, we also offer courses for exam preparation.
