I think the hybrid teaching option is perfect for me! I can decide how I want to study each week and don’t miss anything if I can’t come to school. Especially in times of corona, it’s just great.
More flexibility is not possible:
In cooperation with the City of Zurich and the Cantonal Integration Programme, we now offer a hybrid German course for beginners at very special conditions.
Modern technology gives you the opportunity to take part in lessons online (e.g. via mobile phone from home) or on site at the school.
Shift work, sickness or just too much stress? No problem! If you are unable to attend a lesson, we will provide you with a video recording of the lesson so that you can catch up on the content you have missed.
Conditions of participation:
- Possession of the KulturLegi
- If you live in the city of Zurich, this German course is free for you if you attend regularly (≥ 70%).

Course Content:
You will acquire fundamental knowledge of the German language, including grammar, vocabulary, and phonetics, at language levels A1, A2, and B1, enabling you to engage confidently in everyday conversations. In addition, you will gain insights into important cultural and social topics in Switzerland, particularly in Zurich.
This marks an important first step towards successful integration!
Course Details:
- Course Duration: 12.09.2024 – 27.02.2025
- Course Holidays: We follow the school calendar of Zurich
- Course Structure: 39 sessions of 100 minutes each / 78 lessons of 50 minutes each
- Course Days: Tuesday and Thursday
- Course Times: 14:30 – 16:15
- Course Fee per Lesson: 5 CHF / total 390 CHF (plus course book)
- Course Completion: Certificate of attendance or official telc A1/A2/B1 exam (available directly at our school)
Course Fee Refund:
After the course, the City of Zurich will reimburse your fees if you have attended at least 70% of the lessons.
As a result, the course is free of charge.
