Swiss german-Courses – B1 in Zurich or online

In addition to knowledge of German, competence in Swiss German is also part of integration in Switzerland. It is simply nice to be able to communicate in everyday life, and it will make you feel right at home in your new country! At our Wordculture language school in the center of Zurich, we offer B1 language courses for all languages.

You have already completed the A1 and A2 courses and would like to further develop your acquired knowledge?

In our B1 language courses you will deepen what you have learned so far, expand your vocabulary and become familiar with more difficult topics. You will learn to talk about experiences and events, to speak fluently about familiar topics and to understand simple texts.

Our B1 courses are suitable for anyone who wants to further develop their language skills.

Swiss german

Learning Swiss-German is an important step forward on the road to integration! In order to settle down and begin to understand the land and its people, a knowledge of Swiss-German is essential. Our courses offer a fun way to familiarise yourself with Zürittüütsch (Zürich German). Glacé, Götti and Geschwelti will no longer be foreign words and your next conversation in Swiss-German with your friendly neighbour will be problem-free.
Our small class size (3-6 students) will give you every opportunity to speak and practice the language as much as possible. The support of our experienced teachers will help you quickly reach your language goals. Our Swiss-German courses offer not just the opportunity to learn the language, but also to explore the culture and history of Switzerland.

We offer Swiss-German courses for beginners as well as advanced students.
We offer our courses throughout the day – mornings, midday, afternoons, and we can offer you the flexibility of studying at our centrally located school, in the comfort of your own home, or at your workplace.
An advantage for all parents is that we can offer our Childcare-service (until 5pm) which runs in parallel with our language courses. While you learn, our childcare specialists will look after your little ones. (12.50 CHF/60min).

B1

At the B1 level you can slowly understand more complex themes, read texts and discuss. The vocabulary is more specialised and consequently revised and broadened. You can report experiences and events. Also you can speak more confidently on familiar topics. You are able to understand the essential points in the context of an everyday situation, conversation or text.
We offer B1 courses for all languages and at a time to best suit you: morning, lunchtime, afternoon or evening. We can offer you the flexibility of studying at our centrally located school, in the comfort of your own home, or at your workplace.
Depending on the intensity of the course it can take between 1 and 6 months to complete an entire level. At the end of a course you can sit the relevant exam for your chosen language.
The B1 courses are designed for adults, students or children, who would like to further improve their understanding and use of a language.
