At Wordculture we can prepare you for your citizenship interview, to which you will be invited as part of the process of becoming a citizen in Switzerland.

The goal of this short course is to familiarise you with the everyday lifestyle of the Swiss as well as the most important public institutions of the Gemeinde (community), Kanton (state) and Bund (federation). We also cover the most important cultural and historical aspects of Switzerland. At the end we will do some mock interviews so you get used to the test/interview situation.

For this course, a minimum of A2-B1 German level is required. In order to apply for citizenship you need have passed one of the relevant exams: A2 for writing, listening and reading and B1 for speaking. We recommend the B1 Certificate. Wordculture is an accredited examination centre for Telc and we can offer the comfort and convenience of sitting the Telc exam at our school.

Knowledge of the German language, whether in a professional or private context, is essential for living in Zürich!
The phrase: “Deutsche Sprache – schwere Sprache” (German is a difficult language) isn’t true at Wordculture! You will find out, just how much fun learning German can be. And it will be much easier than you might imagine.

Our small class size (3-6 students) will give you every opportunity to speak and practice the language as much as possible. The support of our experienced teachers will help you quickly reach your language goals.
We offer German courses for all levels: A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2. At the end of your course you will be able to take a certificate test such as Goethe or telc. As a licensed telc Examination Centre we can offer you the convenience and comfort of sitting the Telc exam at out school.

We offer our courses throughout the day – mornings, midday, afternoons, and we can offer you the flexibility of studying at our centrally located school, in the comfort of your own home, or at your workplace.
An advantage for all parents is that we can offer our Childcare-service (until 5pm) which runs in parallel with our language courses. While you learn, our childcare specialists will look after your little ones. (12.50 CHF/60min).
