Our language course Portuguese A1 (European or Brazilian) provides a solid foundation upon which to build a working knowledge of Portuguese. Our experienced teachers are native speakers and will provide you with a supportive and rich learning environment, as well as insights into their own culture. The small class size (3-6 students) and up to date teaching methodologies will give you every opportunity to ask questions, as well as the chance to speak and practice the language as much as possible.
It is possible to complete an entire level in one course. Depending on the intensity of the course, this can take between 2.5 and 6 months.
When you have finished a course, you will have acquired the essential grammar and vocabulary you need to deal with simple everyday interactions.
These courses are designed for students who are complete beginners (A1). After completing one of our courses you can go on to sit the exam for the ACESSO or CELPE-BRAS A1.
